How We Worship Weekly services are held at 9:00 AM each Sunday morning.
The Holy Eucharist
Central to every service is the act of taking Communion, a renewal of our recognition and acceptance of Christ's sacrifice for ourselves and the entire world.
Readings from the Scriptures
Parishioners read portions of the Bible - messages from the ancient Hebrew prophecies, Psalms in worship of God the Father, Gospel renditions of Jesus' life and ministry, and instructions to the Church from St. Paul.
The Sermon
Our priest offers words to inspire and instruct us, bringing the Scriptural lessons to life in today's world.
Prayers of the People / The Peace
Prayers are offered to benefit our church, all who serve the world and all those who are suffering.
Afterward, the congregation takes time to greet one another and to offer a wish for peace in their lives.
Music -- Joyous Jazz
In addition to the traditional hymnal, the service includes songs of worship from "Life Every Voice and Sing".
Joyous Jazz is featured during the Prelude and the Peace and as appropriate during the service.
Fellowship and Study
Following the Service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall to share breakfast and to spend time together.
Following the breakfast, weekly Bible study is held to contemplate more deeply the weekly lessons.
